Catch the Wave!

The Blue Wave believes the only way for our beautiful Talossan language to thrive for years

to come is for there to be but one Talossan language. The balkanization of the Glehþ into seperate dialects would be a disaster from which Talossa might never recover. The Blue Wave looks on in sadness at the inability of either the Kingdom or the Republic government to get this thing rolling.

The Blue Wave believes the only way for the traditionalists in the Kingdom and the progressives in the Republic to ever have any sort of reproachment (i. e. reunification), both sides must come together in a spirit of pragmatism and tolerance.

The perfect vehicle for this is to make the CUG into a Pan-Talossan organization. The CUG is the traditional “language academy”, started by Tomás Gariçéir and the former King Robert I, the two great Glheþ advocates of all-time up to 1 June 2004.

My first act as Prime Minister would be to appeal to all Republic afficionados to make application to the CUG as well as to make an appeal to the government of the Kingdom to make the CUG into a Pan-Talossan/non-sectarian/non-partizan organization and the preeminent and supreme authority on all Talossan-language reforms and developments.

This would affirm the CUG’s traditional and rightful place as the go-to Glheþ think-tank as well as bring together the currently disparate threads of language work. It would create critical mass, mass-enthusiasm, and would, in the fullness of time, create the kind of environment where a reconcilation and reunification between the two Talossas could come about.
